Paragonix Technologies markets organ transportation devices that safeguard organs during the journey between donor and recipient patients. Our devices incorporate clinically proven and medically trusted hypothermic preservation techniques in a novel suspension system to provide unprecedented physical and thermal protection. Our product portfolio spans cardiac, thoracic, and abdominal preservation devices to improve donor organ quality and extend donor organ transport time.  Paragonix also markets transplant services and organ screening to the transplant community.

Job Overview

This position is to provide logistical support to Paragonix's Transplant Services Procurement department. Coordinators will interact with transportation partners to set up and confirm both air and ground logistics. Coordinators will also select, and dispatch transplant procurement teams based on preset conditions and escalate for help selecting as necessary. Coordinators will utilize the OPTN contractor computer system to confirm details regarding the services' case.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

  1. Responsible for setting both air and ground transportation logistics for Transplant Services Procurement cases.
  2. Serves as the primary POC for the transplant center coordinator.
  1. Excellent customer service and communication skills with both internal and external staff including relaying clear, concise, and pertinent clinical information.
  2. Responsible for being reachable within 15 minutes by telephone during their 24-hour call shift.
  3. Responsible for working in collaboration with the rest of the team to train and evaluate new members.
  4. Excellent customer service and communication skills with internal procurement teams, OPO donor staff, and transplant center members.
  5. Selection of procurement teams based on availability, geography, and specialty.
  6. Excellent time-management skills and ability to coordinate multiple, complex cases in a stressful and time- sensitive environment.
  7. Maintaining necessary training and credentials for hospital, Paragonix, and OPTN computer systems.

 

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in health science, nursing, general science, or equivalent experience in transplant or logistics related field.
  1. 3 years' experience in a critical and stressful environment

Preferred Qualifications

    1. Experience in Aviation Scheduling Management
    2. ABTC Certification (CPTC, CTP, CCTC, or CCTN)

US BASED SALARY - The base salary for this position is $92,880.
