• Conduct individualized mental health assessments, taking into account patients' unique cultural backgrounds and experiences to create comprehensive treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions tailored to each individual, family, or group, ensuring cultural responsiveness and inclusivity in all treatment methodologies.
• Facilitate therapy sessions, including individual and group formats, addressing various mental health issues while fostering resilience and well-being among clients.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists and psychologists—to ensure integrated and thorough care for each patient.
• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and guidance during mental health emergencies.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, promoting a greater understanding and accessibility to support.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation adhering to legal and ethical obligations, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for accuracy and efficiency.
• Engage in regular case conferences and professional development opportunities, enhancing both your skills and our collective cultural competency.
• Stay abreast of contemporary research and best practices in the mental health field, integrating new knowledge into therapeutic practices.

Our practice specializes in caring for individuals from traditionally underserved populations. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will provide essential support to individuals from diverse backgrounds, including ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ populations, and recent immigrants. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the lives of clients who often face systemic barriers to receiving mental health care, making your role both vital and rewarding.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.
• Strong understanding of diverse mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and a commitment to cultural competence in therapeutic practice.
• Proven experience providing individual and group therapy with a background in culturally responsive methodologies.
• Excellent crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building rapport and trust with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
• A commitment to ethical guidelines, maintaining professional boundaries, and ensuring client confidentiality.
• Ability to work cohesively within a multidisciplinary team to address comprehensive patient needs.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience delivering culturally competent therapy in an outpatient or community setting.
• Previous experience working within a remote care model is highly regarded.
