• Develop individualized aftercare plans in collaboration with clients, tailored to ensure successful transitions from therapy to daily living.
• Maintain engagement with clients’ families, external clinicians, and relevant referring parties to coordinate comprehensive care and provide continuity in treatment.
• Complete thorough documentation including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, adhering strictly to our clinic’s policies and legal requirements.
• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions using proven evidence-based practices to support client recovery and mental resilience.
• Regularly evaluate client progress in therapy and adjust treatment approaches as necessary to optimize outcomes.

The Mental Health Therapist position at MarinHealth will focus on diverse client needs, including adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological challenges. You will work with individuals from various cultural backgrounds, fostering inclusivity in care practices. Our telehealth services allow you to impact clients’ lives, empowering them through tailored strategies and support as they navigate their mental health journey.

• A Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Science field, with licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• Active licensure in California, demonstrating compliance with state regulatory requirements.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant clinical experience, showcasing strong mental health service delivery skills.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record systems for documentation, with attention to detail and commitment to timely record-keeping.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a solid understanding of mental health disorders and treatment approaches.

• Experience providing telehealth services in a clinical setting with a proven ability to engage clients remotely.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in treating a diverse range of mental health conditions.
• Skills in crisis intervention, risk assessment, and developing safety plans for vulnerable clients.

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
