Key Responsibilities

  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) across individual, couple, family, and group settings.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention services and maintain open communication with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care during acute distress situations.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations.
  • Facilitate psychoeducation sessions for patients and their families to empower them with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their mental health effectively.
  • Engage in collaborative practice with a multidisciplinary teamโ€”including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managersโ€”to ensure comprehensive and continuous care for patients.
  • Regularly assess treatment outcomes to gauge the effectiveness of interventions, adjusting plans as needed to better meet patient needs.
  • Stay current on best practices, emerging therapies, and research in the mental health field, applying new knowledge to enhance clinical practice.
  • Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all interactions and documentation concerning patient information.

Qualifications
