• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate the mental health and substance abuse issues faced by clients, identifying immediate needs and formulating strategies for intervention.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans informed by assessment results, promoting holistic care that addresses both mental and emotional health.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique needs of clients.
• Document clinical interactions consistently, maintaining accurate electronic health records (EHR) that meet compliance standards and assist in tracking client progress.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team, engaging in case discussions and treatment planning to ensure a multi-faceted approach to client care.
• Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, ensuring immediate support and resources for clients in distress.
• Remain informed about current trends, best practices, and new techniques in mental health and substance use treatment to continuously enhance care quality.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults and adolescents experiencing a variety of mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders. • A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is required.
• Current licensure as a mental health counselor in the state of Florida is essential to practice.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills that facilitate effective collaboration and rapport-building with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and contribute positively to group dynamics.

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems to accurately document client interactions and treatment plans.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and crisis intervention techniques.
• Previous experience in a community health or outpatient setting is highly advantageous.

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
