Pacific Valley Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and fully licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is entirely remote, allowing you to deliver therapeutic services from the comfort of your own home. Utilizing a telehealth approach, you will engage with clients via secure video conferencing platforms, ensuring effective communication while adhering to HIPAA compliance. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health concerns, employing validated screening tools to evaluate psychological, emotional, and social factors that affect mental well-being.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs and personal recovery goals, integrating therapeutic modalities that best suit their circumstances.
• Facilitate one-on-one and group therapy sessions, implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), among others.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to coordinate care that meets the holistic needs of clients.
• Offer guidance and education to clients’ families, promoting healthy understanding and active participation in the therapeutic process.
• Maintain accurate, confidential client records in accordance with ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements, ensuring all documentation supports continuity of care.

Your role will encompass working with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults from various backgrounds and with a wide range of mental health conditions. You will have the opportunity to apply your skills in various therapeutic contexts, helping individuals cope with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.
• Demonstrated experience and training in mental health counseling, showcasing your ability to adapt techniques based on client needs.
• Strong foundational knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating a range of mental health disorders.
• Exceptional skills in therapy and counseling, capable of establishing therapeutic relationships that inspire client motivation.
• Proficient communication abilities, aiding effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary treatment team.

• At least two years of clinical experience providing mental health counseling, with specific training in trauma-informed care practices.
• Experience working in a telehealth setting, demonstrating familiarity with remote therapy platforms and ethical considerations in telehealth.
• Proficiency in additional therapeutic modalities and certifications is a plus.

Pacific Valley Counseling Services offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
