The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, based on caseload and experience.

As a part of the Community Health Clinic, therapists will experience a collaborative work environment designed to support both clients and therapists. Working remotely means you can conduct therapy sessions from your own home or any location that provides you with a comfortable, confidential space. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health conditions, using structured guidelines and tools.
• Create comprehensive treatment plans that are evidence-based and tailored to each client's specific challenges and goals.
• Facilitate therapy sessions through secure virtual platforms, employing various therapeutic methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other modalities as appropriate.
• Engage in continuous collaboration with clients to refine therapeutic goals and to provide the necessary guidance and support throughout their treatment journey.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all therapy interactions and client progress through our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The Mental Health Counselor will work primarily with a diverse population within the Joliet community and surrounding areas, providing services to clients facing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Through empathetic listening and tailored interventions, therapists will play a crucial role in promoting recovery and resilience among individuals from various backgrounds.

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively, fostering trust and a therapeutic alliance with clients in a virtual setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating the capacity to engage clients with empathy, compassion, and understanding.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and documentation efficiently in a remote environment.

• Experience working with telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred.
• Experience in community mental health settings or with specific populations, such as children and adolescents or individuals from underserved communities, is beneficial.
• Familiarity with best practices for remote therapy delivery, including ethical considerations and client engagement strategies.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
