Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our dynamic team at SpringLeaf Healthcare Counseling Center. In this full-time remote role, you will provide essential mental health therapy and support to a diverse clientele, empowering them to achieve their personal mental health goals. The position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with your caseload.

About the Organization

SpringLeaf Healthcare Counseling Center is a rapidly growing mental health provider located in Aurora, Colorado. Our mission is to enhance the well-being of our community by delivering exceptional therapy services in a supportive, collaborative environment. Our team consists of licensed therapists committed to high-quality care and ongoing professional development. We pride ourselves on fostering an inclusive culture where diversity is valued, and innovation is encouraged.

Work Environment

As a mental health therapist at SpringLeaf, you will benefit from a fully remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule and work from a location that suits you best. Our outpatient office meets the unique needs of our clients and therapists alike, offering a digital platform for teletherapy sessions and an efficient dashboard for managing client records and appointments. This means less time on administrative tasks and more time focused on patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations of clients to determine their mental health status and specific needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that reflect each clientโ€™s goals and therapeutic needs, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Provide individual therapy to adult clients, employing a solution-focused approach to facilitate progress and resolution of their concerns.
  • Utilize teletherapy effectively to conduct virtual therapy sessions, making use of innovative technology to connect and engage clients.
  • Offer crisis intervention services as necessary, ensuring that clients receive immediate support during critical situations.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, keeping informed about the latest research and practices in mental health care to optimize client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve adult clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, which may include anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, and more. You will have the opportunity to impact lives positively through tailored therapeutic interventions and by creating a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions.

Qualifications
  • A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • A compassionate, empathetic nature, coupled with a non-judgmental approach to mental health care.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and case-management skills.
  • No history of disciplinary actions on your professional board.
Preferred Experience

Experience in teletherapy is preferred but not required. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), is advantageous. Knowledge of insurance and billing processes in an outpatient setting will enhance your ability to navigate client care efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Attractive salary range of $90,000 to $104,000 annually, depending on your caseload and experience.
  • Comprehensive health benefits that include medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Insurance coverage for therapists to ensure you are protected in your practice.
  • A retirement savings plan with company matching contributions to assist you in planning for the future.
  • Flexible work schedules designed to support work-life balance, enabling you to manage both professional and personal commitments.
  • Unlimited referrals to help you grow your client base quickly.
  • A streamlined paperwork process that allows you to concentrate on patient care rather than administration.
  • Rapid establishment of a full caseload upon joining, setting you up for immediate success.
  • Access to state-of-the-art therapist dashboard to efficiently manage sessions and client information.
  • A quick onboarding process and ongoing support from our dedicated team to ensure your success at SpringLeaf.
Career Growth Opportunities

At SpringLeaf Healthcare, we prioritize the professional development of our therapists. Employees have access to continuing education resources, workshops, and conferences to stay updated on industry trends and developments. We encourage career advancement and support efforts to gain additional certifications or specialized training.
