• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ mental health diagnoses and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs and circumstances.
• Implement treatment interventions with a focus on goal achievement, employing creative strategies that resonate with clients and facilitate their recovery journeys.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including case notes, treatment plan updates, and diagnostic assessments, in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Coordinate care by collaborating with case managers, medical personnel, and other members of clients’ support networks to ensure integrated care.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients and addressing their concerns in a compassionate and professional manner.
• Engage in all clinical team meetings, contributing insights and sharing knowledge to enhance the collective effectiveness of the team.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required, adapting to the evolving nature of mental health service delivery.

You will work with a diverse client base, addressing a wide spectrum of mental health needs from anxiety and depression to more complex behavioral issues. Understanding and developing rapport with clients from various backgrounds will be essential to success in this role, as it contributes to creating a therapeutic environment where individuals feel safe, valued, and supported in their healing processes.

• A master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Active LPC licensure in the state of Oregon is mandatory.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients while providing empathetic support.
• Proficient in timely completion and submission of documentation pertinent to services rendered, adhering to the deadlines set forth by the clinic.
• A commitment to working with a diverse population, showcasing an understanding of various cultural perspectives and individual experiences.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical mental health counseling role is highly preferred, providing familiarity with the challenges faced by clients.
• Experience in coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams enhances effectiveness in this role.
• Prior engagement with community-based initiatives or similar outreach programs is a plus, demonstrating a proactive approach to mental health equity.
