This position operates in a remote setting, utilizing telehealth platforms to connect with clients. You will employ various digital tools and technologies to provide effective therapy sessions, assessments, and consultations, ensuring your clinical practices align with best practices in remote healthcare.

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client, fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.
• Carrying out comprehensive assessments to identify each client's psychological needs and to develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Managing a diverse caseload of patients with varying mental health challenges, demonstrating proficiency in responding to their unique needs.
• Collaborating with clients and their families to create effective intervention strategies, ensuring a shared approach towards achieving therapeutic goals.
• Utilizing advanced clinical skills to address crises, supporting clients through therapeutic interventions and crisis management techniques.
• Documenting and maintaining accurate treatment logs, strategy outlines, and progress summaries to monitor client development and adapt care as necessary.
• Facilitating educational and support programs for patients and their families, enriching their understanding of mental health resources and coping strategies.

Our patients come from diverse backgrounds and possess a wide range of psychological needs. As a counselor, you will engage with individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Your role is crucial in helping clients develop resilience and independence in managing their mental health. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated approach to each client's care.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required.
• Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is essential, showcasing hands-on experience in mental health counseling.

Candidates with advanced degrees, such as a Master’s or Ph.D. in psychology, social work, or counseling, will be given preference. Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices is highly advantageous, ensuring a seamless transition into our digital service delivery model.
