Join our team as a dedicated Remote Mental Health Counselor at Quail Run Behavioral Health Clinic, where you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, individualized mental health care to clients. This full-time position allows for flexible scheduling, empowering you to work from home while providing essential support to individuals facing diverse psychological challenges.

About the Organization

At Quail Run Behavioral Health Clinic, we proudly serve over 50,000 individuals, embodying our commitment to quality services and individualized support that fosters growth and independence. With a team of 40,000 professionals, we continually innovate our care practices to enhance outcomes for our clients, who may experience various physical, intellectual, or behavioral challenges. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we value diversity and inclusion, welcoming applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including those with disabilities and veterans.

Work Environment

This role operates in a remote capacity, offering the flexibility to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments. Even from a distance, you will remain connected to a thriving outpatient office environment supported by a collaborative team of mental health professionals dedicated to achieving positive patient outcomes. Your remote status will not hinder your ability to participate in virtual consultations with peers and supervisors, fostering a strong sense of community and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will oversee the clinical care of a diverse caseload, providing tailored therapy sessions, both individually and in groups. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate client needs and progress, which will guide your treatment planning.
  • Providing therapeutic interventions during crisis situations, leveraging your advanced expertise to support patients and their families.
  • Creating, documenting, and maintaining detailed treatment plans and progress reports that reflect ongoing assessments and adjustments to care.
  • Facilitating personalized counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to address specific client needs, and referring clients to specialized care when necessary.
  • Offering educational and supportive programs designed to empower patients and their families while ensuring that their psychological needs are met effectively.
  • Regularly reviewing caseloads in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to strategize ongoing treatment plans and objectives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass working with clients who present a wide range of psychological challenges. From individuals suffering from anxiety and depression to those coping with complex trauma or behavioral disorders, you will employ your skills in assessment and intervention to facilitate meaningful change. By actively involving families in the treatment process, you will ensure a holistic approach to mental health care.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling is required, along with appropriate licensure as an LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is mandatory for consideration.
  • Expertise in psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention, with the ability to engage patients in crisis and facilitate their journey toward recovery.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years is required, additional experience in specialized areas of mental health or familiarity with various therapeutic modalities will be considered an asset. We seek counselors who are innovative, proactive, and committed to lifelong learning within the field of mental health.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 135,000, commensurate with experience and licensure. Additional benefits include:

  • A $1,000 sign-on bonus upon joining our team.
  • Flexible scheduling with the option to choose between 5 to 40 hours per week.
  • Potential for up to $2,000 in bonuses, contingent upon state licensure, supplementing your income.
  • Comprehensive health benefits including full medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage.
  • Generous paid time off policy allowing for roll-over and cash-out options.
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave, supporting work-life balance during critical family moments.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Quail Run Behavioral Health Clinic, we are dedicated to your professional development. You will have access to continuing education programs and training sessions designed to enhance your skills and expand your knowledge, providing clear pathways to advancement within the organization. Whether you aspire to specialize further or take on leadership roles, your growth is supported and encouraged.
