Position Overview

Comfort Console Psychotherapy is actively seeking a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to enhance our team dedicated to improving mental health access in the Fontana, California area. This full-time remote position enables mental health professionals to deliver essential support and coaching to clients dealing with a variety of emotional and psychological challenges. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in crisis management, conduct group therapy sessions, and provide comprehensive counseling services to clients while working collaboratively with their families.

Work Environment

This is a remote full-time position that provides professionals the flexibility to work from home while maintaining active engagement with clients. Our remote setting is equipped with resources to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members. Our work schedule generally spans Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing work-life balance while serving our community's needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and collaborating with clients on personalized treatment plans that address their unique mental health concerns.
• Maintaining meticulous client records, ensuring all documentation is complete with required signatures while performing weekly audits every Friday.
• Facilitating discharge planning and active community outreach, establishing connections to additional resources as needed.
• Responding to emergencies with professionalism and initiating the necessary actions to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
• Documenting significant events relating to client activities in daily logs to track progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
• Efficiently handling client complaints and inquiries to enhance the overall quality of care.
• Supervising support staff to ensure proper completion of client orientation sessions.
• Establishing communication channels with clients’ families when consent is obtained to support treatment goals.
• Meeting with clients at least twice weekly to monitor progress, provide support, and adjust therapeutic strategies as necessary.
• Writing comprehensive notes after each group therapy session and individual interaction to ensure accurate reporting and follow-up.
• Participating in staff meetings and training sessions to continue professional development and adhere to best practices.

Our patient population consists of individuals from diverse backgrounds experiencing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A valid California state licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPCC).
• A minimum of two years of experience in clinical counseling, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic approaches.
• Strong skills in both individual and group counseling techniques, adapting methods to fit client needs.
• In-depth knowledge of behavioral management principles, ensuring effective interventions.
• The ability to work both collaboratively as part of a team and independently, depending on the demands of clients and clinic needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and colleagues.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development, ethical practice standards, and a passion for making a difference in the field of mental health.

Preferred Experience

While the above qualifications are essential, candidates with experience in community mental health settings or specialized training in crisis intervention will be given priority. Familiarity with telehealth practices and engagement with diverse populations are also highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

Comfort Console Psychotherapy values its employees and offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, inclusive of benefits. Our comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees includes:
