This role will focus on providing therapeutic support and interventions to individuals in a school-based setting, emphasizing mental health wellness and resilience.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand each client’s mental health needs, strengths, and challenges.
  • Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
  • Collaborate with educational staff, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to design and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at specific mental health goals.
  • Facilitate psychoeducation workshops and support groups that provide clients and their families with essential coping strategies and resources.
  • Offer crisis intervention services, including risk assessment and safety planning when necessary, to ensure clients feel safe and supported.
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation in accordance with ethical standards, ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of client information.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role includes working with a diverse student population within a school environment. You will be instrumental in supporting students facing a variety of challenges, including emotional difficulties, behavioral issues, and social adjustment problems. By providing targeted mental health interventions, you will contribute significantly to the recovery and resilience of these young individuals.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health or outpatient setting is essential.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills are critical for success in this role.
Preferred Experience
