Job description

About iCOUNTER
iCOUNTER is building the future of cybersecurity.
Modern enterprises rely on thousands of third parties, suppliers, SaaS providers, contractors, and digital partners. At the same time, attackers have shifted their focus to these trusted relationships. Today, nearly half of reported breaches involve a third party, making the extended enterprise one of the largest attack surfaces in cybersecurity.
iCOUNTER is the first Risk Intelligence company built to help organizations identify, determine, and counter threats across their ecosystem. Our AI-native platform makes a Risk Determination at the point of intelligence collection, helping organizations understand what is real, what is relevant, and what requires action.
At the center of our platform is CTOS™, the Counter Threat Operating System. CTOS continuously monitors adversary activity, credential exposure, targeting behavior, and ecosystem risk across third and fourth parties. It then routes intelligence into action through automated workflows and managed operations.
If you want to help define the next era of cybersecurity and build technology that helps organizations stop monitoring threats and start countering them, we'd love to meet you.
Job Overview
iCOUNTER is seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to accelerate strategic growth. This is a quota-carrying individual contributor role built for a cybersecurity business development professional who can leverage existing networks, generate new opportunities, and help expand into new markets and customer segments.
You'll work directly with iCOUNTER's marketing team to shape our GTM strategy, strengthen brand awareness, and build a high-quality pipeline. This role is a ground-floor opportunity to define how iCOUNTER grows during a period of rapid expansion, backed by cutting-edge threat intelligence capabilities and a differentiated cybersecurity platform.
This position supports customers and prospects throughout the Eastern U.S. and requires availability during standard Eastern Time business hours.
Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, email campaigns, phone outreach, LinkedIn engagement, and industry events
  • Identify and research target accounts, key stakeholders, and decision-makers within enterprise organizations
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, business needs, and buying processes
  • Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations for sales leadership
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to execute account-based sales strategies and campaigns
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, prospect activity, and engagement records within the CRM systems
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified meetings and pipeline contribution
  • Represent iCOUNTER at virtual and in-person industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate new leads

Required Skills
  • Experience in business development, sales, lead generation or customer outreach
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding prospecting, meeting-setting, and pipeline generation targets
  • Experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or technology sales/business development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling, concise outreach and engage with stakeholders
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot or similar sales tools
  • Ability to quickly understand and articulate technical SaaS products in a way that connects to business value
  • Self-motivated, organized, coachable, and collaborative with a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment

Behaviors/Values

  • Passion for cybersecurity and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security.
  • Eagerness to learn and stay current with evolving cybersecurity trends.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Integrity is paramount; honesty is a core value at ICOUNTER.
