Job description

Position Overview

Branches of Growth Psychotherapy LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) to join our dynamic team. This full-time, remote position allows you to provide impactful therapy to clients struggling with alcohol-related issues and other mental health challenges. You will play a vital role in helping individuals reshape their relationships with alcohol, ultimately promoting healthier lifestyles.

About the Organization

Branches of Growth Psychotherapy LLC is an innovative online platform dedicated to supporting individuals seeking to transform their relationship with alcohol. We provide access to a free, anonymous community, therapist-led support groups, and a wealth of resources designed to empower our members. Our ethos is grounded in making evidence-based care accessible and affordable. Founded out of a personal journey of healing and recovery, we prioritize quality service and client-centered approaches to mental health.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to design your schedule and work from the comfort of your home. Utilizing a telehealth model, you'll conduct sessions via secure video conferencing platforms. We prioritize a supportive work environment and equip you with the necessary tools to provide exceptional care while reducing administrative burdens, enabling you to focus on what matters most: your clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set your own availability without a minimum number of hours required, creating a work-life balance that suits you.
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions primarily through telehealth, offering evidence-based interventions tailored to clients’ needs.
  • Facilitate support groups for clients seeking community connection, as well as optional educational workshops on pertinent topics.
  • Encourage patients to engage with community recovery support options like AA and Smart Recovery, while emphasizing that these can complement, but not replace, our therapeutic services.
  • Work collaboratively with our Clinical Operations Team to ensure effective care coordination and respond promptly to client needs.
  • Participate in monthly peer consultation groups to foster professional development and maintain high standards of clinical practice.
  • Handle client referrals efficiently through our streamlined processes, expanding your impact.
  • Partner with our Content Manager to contribute to clinical insights and resources that benefit our members, if desired.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve adults seeking to address their behaviors related to alcohol use, including both those aiming for abstinence and those interested in moderation. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and many will be looking for a safe space to explore their challenges and gain support in their recovery journey. Your empathetic approach will significantly impact their healing and growth.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a valid LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license in the state of Texas.
  • Education requirements include at least a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated training and experience in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care.
  • Familiarity with harm-reduction principles, understanding clients’ needs for varying levels of support.
  • Excellent clinical engagement skills, showcasing empathy and rapport-building capabilities.
Preferred Experience

While we welcome applicants from all backgrounds, preference may be given to candidates with experience in substance use counseling or those who have actively worked in telehealth settings. Familiarity with community recovery options and a proactive approach to integrating these into treatment plans is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, accompanied by a signing bonus for successful candidates. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, a retirement plan, and generous paid time off to support your well-being. You will also receive financial support for continuing education, further enhancing your professional development.

Career Growth Opportunities

Branches of Growth Psychotherapy LLC encourages continuous learning and professional growth. You will have access to various professional development resources, the possibility of research collaborations, and the support of a dedicated team to help you cultivate your skills. Regular participation in peer discussions and monthly mentorship opportunities will help you advance your career in mental health counseling.
