Job Title: Inside Sales Representative

Report To: Sales Manager

Our client, a large Alberta-based organization, is seeking Inside Sales Representatives to join their team. This is a fully remote role open to candidates anywhere in Alberta, with one office day a month in Edmonton or Calgary. This position is a strong fit for proven sales professionals who value a flexible work environment and an extremely aggressive compensation plan.


Responsibilities:

● Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, using strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with

existing and prospective customers.

● Make outbound calls to follow up on web inquiries and lost leads, and to book appointments.

● Carry out retention calls and build long-term relationships with existing customers.

● Drive increased market share by consistently achieving and exceeding sales results.

● Consistently achieve key performance indicators and metrics.

● Apply the eight steps of consultative selling on every call, for both sales and retention.

● Develop customer insight to align the appropriate solution to what the customer actually needs.

● Handle customer inquiries, billing questions and benefit follow-ups.

● Build a strong corporate and personal brand by demonstrating integrity, following up, and delivering on customer commitments.

● Consistently meet customer commitments and follow-up requirements.

● Execute all administrative requirements to create and process contracts.

● Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver the best possible experience for customers.

● Collaborate and proactively engage with leadership and peers to execute on sales and customer expectations.

● Engage with leadership in weekly coaching sessions to further develop skills and competencies.

● Secure the applicable industry licensing, A&S and Life, as part of the onboarding process.

● Proactively create and execute a personal development plan through discussions with leaders.

● Act in the best interests of the organization, its customers and the community.


Must Have Qualifications:

● 2+ years of recent direct sales experience in a role with clear KPIs and targets

● A proven track record of hitting sales targets

● Able to work remotely from a designated, non-distracting home workspace

● Available to travel to the Edmonton or Calgary office for monthly team days and quarterly incentives

● Able to pass the LLQP licensing exams within the first month, with up to three attempts allowed


Like To Have Qualifications:

● 3 to 5 years of sales experience

● An active LLQP licence or an insurance background

● Experience in telecom, financial services, hospitality or insurance

● Previous B2B sales experience

● Experience with high-volume calling or outbound prospecting
