Fastsigns of Ashland is hiring a Full-time Graphic Designer to join our team!
THIS IS NOT A REMOTE JOB!

A Successful FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer:
  • MUST be proficient in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Create computer-generated full-color graphics and vinyl output that can be printed and mounted to a substrate or weeded, cut, and applied
  • Complete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to media
  • Determine the size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select the style and size of the type, and arrange the layout based on available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.
  • Produce signage, mount materials, cut materials, use a laminator during production, and handle material and substrate.
  • Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output. Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurate
  • Maintain customer logo library; convert graphic files

Ideal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer:
  • 2-3 years of graphic design experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator a must
  • Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously
  • Determine the best output method based on the customer's needs
  • Sit and view a computer screen for long periods (4 hours or more)
  • Ability to work under pressure to output high-volume, high-quality work
  • Ability to produce products such as foam board signs, coro yard signs, print decals, and cut them out; make large print signs; produce banners; ADA signage; these are some of the job responsibilities of this position.
  • We do have on-the-job training.
