What are remote graphic artists?

Remote graphic artists are creative professionals who design visual content such as logos, advertisements, illustrations, and layouts while working from a location outside of a traditional office, typically from home or another remote setting. They use digital tools and software to collaborate with clients and teams online, delivering high-quality visual assets for print, web, or multimedia projects. This remote arrangement offers flexibility while still requiring strong communication skills, creativity, and proficiency with industry-standard graphic design tools.

How does a Remote Graphic Artist typically collaborate with teams and clients while working off-site?

Remote Graphic Artists frequently use digital collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, and project management platforms such as Trello or Asana to communicate with team members and clients. They participate in regular virtual meetings to discuss project goals, share progress, and receive feedback. Sharing design drafts and receiving revisions are typically managed through cloud-based platforms like Adobe Creative Cloud or Google Drive, ensuring everyone stays aligned despite the physical distance. Being proactive with communication and time management is key to building strong working relationships and meeting deadlines in a remote environment.

Job description

EP+Co is looking for a Junior Graphic Artist for our Greenville, SC location.
As usual read carefully. This all matters.
This is not a role for someone who wants to spend all day coming up with campaign concepts.
This is for the person who loves making great work perfect.
The kind of person who catches the typo nobody else saw. Who notices when something is misaligned by a few pixels. Who gets weirdly excited about clean files, organized folders, and making sure everything is built correctly before it goes out into the world.
You'll work closely with our creative, account, and design teams to help transform ideas into polished, production-ready work across print, digital, presentations, and whatever else lands on your desk.
We're looking for someone who is:
• Detail-obsessed and proud of it
• Able to follow brand standards without losing their mind
• Comfortable owning a project from image search to final release
• Fast, accurate, and reliable under deadlines
• Naturally collaborative and easy to work with
• Proactive about solving problems before they become problems
• Adaptable enough to handle whatever the day throws at them
You'll be creating mechanicals, preparing production files, retouching imagery, building presentations, organizing assets, and helping ensure that every piece of work leaving the agency is flawless.
A few things you'll need:
• 1-2 years of Graphic Artist or studio experience
• Strong Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator skills
• PowerPoint and/or Google Slides experience
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
• A portfolio that demonstrates precision, craftsmanship, and technical excellence
