• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, fostering strong therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.
• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess their progress, discuss any challenges, and plan for discharge when appropriate.
• Collaboratively develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans focused on clients' goals and needs.
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of new clients while maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
• Participate in clinical supervision to reflect on and enhance therapeutic practice, ensuring continuous professional growth.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, sharing insights and strategies to provide holistic care.
• Utilize technological tools such as Microsoft Excel, RMS systems, and Outlook to maintain organized records and facilitate client communication.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, striving for growth and adaptability in therapeutic approaches.

The clients served at Serenity Minds Wellness Center range from children to adults and families from various backgrounds. Our practice emphasizes inclusivity, ensuring that all clients feel welcomed and understood. • A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
• Current, unrestricted license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.
• Minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting.
• Proficiency in using various computer applications, including Excel, Outlook, and mental health management systems.
• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
• Comfortable conducting intake assessments and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

While one year of experience is a minimum requirement, preference will be given to candidates with additional experience in diverse therapeutic modalities and demonstrated success in managing complex cases. Familiarity with community resources and a proactive approach to client care will also be viewed favorably.

This position offers an attractive salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 annually, based upon experience and qualifications. The compensation structure is based on a Fee-for-Service model with guaranteed rates, providing stability alongside earnings potential. Benefits include:
