Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
Perform scholarly research with the expectation of publication in top accounting journals, teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels; serve on dissertation committees; provide service to the University and also to the profession. We are particularly interested in scholars with research and teaching interests in financial accounting, auditing, taxation, and managerial accounting.
Full Professor with tenure will be considered for the Thomas Daigre Endowed Chair of Business Administration.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
50% - Teach undergraduate and graduate classes in the Department of Accounting
50% - Perform scholarly research with the expectation of publication in top accounting; serve on dissertation committees; provide service to the University and to the profession.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: PhD in Accounting or related field
Assistant Professor applicants must have PhD in Acct. or related field; (ABD candidates considered but degree must be conferred by 08/14/27)
Associate Professor applicants must have a PhD in Accounting or related field and hold the title of Assistant or Associate Professor at another university
Full Professor applicants must possess a PhD in Accounting or related field and hold the title of Associate Professor or Full Professor at another university.
