Job Summary:
The Program Manager serves as the Contractor's primary point of contact and is responsible for the overall management, administration, staffing, quality control, and successful execution of acquisition support services. The Program Manager oversees contractor personnel, and other acquisition support requirements, ensuring the timely and compliant accomplishment of pre-award, award, and post-award contracting activities. The Program Manager is responsible for supervising contract specialists, managing workload distribution, maintaining performance standards, ensuring compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Contractor, Contracting Officer (CO), and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
  • Provide overall management, direction, and oversight of contract operations and personnel.
  • Ensure all contract requirements, deliverables, and performance objectives are achieved within established schedules and quality standards.
  • Monitor contract performance and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain service levels.
  • Direct and oversee cradle-to-grave acquisition support activities performed by contract specialists.
  • Ensure acquisition actions comply with applicable FAR, HHSAR, CDC policies, procedures, and acquisition best practices.
  • Prepare and review weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly performance reports.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with contracting officers, CORs, acquisition teams, and program offices.
