Job description

Position Summary

The Talent Sourcer plays a critical role in supporting the Talent Acquisition team by proactively identifying, engaging, and building relationships with top talent for current and future hiring needs. Working closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers, the Talent Sourcer develops talent pipelines, conducts market research, and delivers qualified candidates that help drive hiring success across the organization.

  • This role requires you to be in the San Diego area most preferred but in California required. This is a fully remote role.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • The Pay for this position is commiserate with experience and ranges between $24-$30 per hour.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Partner with Recruiters to develop sourcing strategies that align with hiring priorities.
  • Proactively identify and engage active and passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking events, referrals, social media, and other sourcing channels.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for high-volume, specialized, and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct candidate outreach using personalized messaging that generates interest and engagement.
  • Perform initial candidate screenings to evaluate qualifications, experience, and alignment with role requirements.
  • Present qualified candidate slates to Recruiters with detailed screening notes and recommendations.
  • Research target companies, industries, and talent markets to identify sourcing opportunities and competitive intelligence.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and CRM.
  • Support employer branding initiatives by promoting the company across professional networking platforms and sourcing communities.
  • Assist with recruitment marketing campaigns, talent communities, and networking initiatives.
  • Partner with Recruiters to ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience throughout the sourcing and screening process.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend new sourcing tools, technologies, and techniques to improve recruiting effectiveness.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical recruiting practices.
Key Competencies and Minimum Education
  • 1-3 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or talent acquisition.
  • Experience identifying and engaging passive candidates using modern sourcing techniques.
  • Strong proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search methodologies, internet sourcing, and professional networking platforms.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage candidates professionally.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with recruiting partners.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to identify talent trends and market insights.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
