Job Summary
As the Government Property Supervisor, you will support the Government Property Manager in conducting Customer and DCMA audits to ensure compliance with Material Management standards, including those related to capital assets and US Government Property Audits. You will also provide coaching, guidance, and support across all functions and levels within the site organization. Your responsibilities will include setting unit objectives, developing work plans and schedules, and ensuring that resources are available to meet established requirements and assignments. Roles and Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to FAR 52.245-1 Government Property standards, demonstrating regulatory compliance expertise.
  • Assist with or oversee Self-Assessments of the 10 Government Property Management Outcomes outlined in FAR, especially FAR 45 and 52.245-1.
  • Supervise staff by delegating work assignments, providing training, conducting evaluations, and offering coaching.
  • Participate in budgeting, scheduling, planning, and reporting activities to align with objectives.
  • Set unit objectives, develop work plans and schedules, and ensure the availability of essential resources to meet requirements and assignments.
  • Create and compile metrics and reports using Visual Management techniques and analyze metric data to enhance existing processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor's degree along with and 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Alternatively, a High School Diploma or equivalent with 8 years of related experience.
  • 3 years of experience in managing a team or personnel.
  • Proficiency in FAR 52.245-1 Government Property standards.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing Aerospace property owned by the US Government and customers, overseeing contracts, and providing support for Government/DCMA and Customer On-Site & Limited Surveys.
  • Current Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) certification from the National Property Management Association (NPMA), or ability to obtain within one year.
  • Proficiency in SAP or eQuip software.
