Interview Process: 2-3 Rounds

Work Hours are 8-5 PM CT with occasional OT and no on-call work
Currently rolling out Meraki
SD WAN is required

Expected to mentor other team members within the team, presenting to senior leadership

Responsibilities:
As a Lead Network Engineer, you will be responsible for using your technical knowledge of professional concepts to solve business problems. We are looking for a talented individual that can serve as a subject matter expert in their area of focus and represent their department on complex assignments. You will be responsible for evaluating elements of technology's effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, research, and investigation and making recommendations for improvements that result in increased quality and effectiveness. You will be required to listen to and evaluate customer needs to determine and provide high quality solutions that align with customer expectations.
As a Lead Network Engineer, you will be designing and testing network solutions supporting our Wide Area, campus, and branch networks.
Typical technologies include IP routing, switching, load balancing, SD-WAN, Voice over IP, and wireless technologies across a variety of network platforms.
The scope of your role will include developing and implementing new designs, adapting existing designs to meet new requirements, evaluating new software and hardware, and supporting deployment teams, particularly for complex branch deployments.
Designing, developing, and modifying elements of our technology
Evaluating elements of our technology's effectiveness through requirements gathering, testing, research, and investigation and making recommendations for improvements that result in increased quality and effectiveness
Implementing, operating, and maintaining elements of our technology
Creating and maintaining documentation for elements of our technology
Listening to and evaluating customer requirements to determine expectations and needs and provide solutions that align with them
Protecting our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions and daily job responsibilities; following security policies and procedures
Qualifications Required:
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of Network Engineering experience
5+ years of leading large complex network design and implementation projects
Must have proven experience in routing and switching in large complex networks
Must have recent network design experience or strong network configuration experience
Previous experience with Cisco ASA and AnyConnect client configuration and deployment for Windows, Mac, and Android Tablets preferred
Previous experience supporting large-scale multi-organization deployments of Cisco Meraki switches and access points preferred
Previous experience leveraging Python scripting with a focus on network automation preferred
Previous experience with VMware VeloCloud SDWAN design, implementation, and maintenance preferred
Previous experience with PKI Certificates, 802.1X, and Certificate Management
Previous experience with QoS, SIP & RTP Protocols, and Voice Codecs
Adept at improving outcomes through proactive coaching and development to less senior team members
Established teamwork and leadership skills needed to participate in, and coordinate a variety of efforts
Ability to write process, analysis, and solution documentation
Proven ability to accurately interpret, document, and deliver customer requirements
Ability to successfully communicate technical details to a wide variety of audiences, including technical and non-technical individuals
Preferred:
CCNA and/or CCNP certifications
