Job description

Vistex is a global enterprise software and services company that helps businesses take control of their mission-critical processes. With a multitude of programs covering pricing, trade, royalties and incentives, it can be complicated to see where all the money is flowing, let alone how much difference it makes to the topline and the bottom line. With Vistex, business stakeholders can see the numbers, see what really works, and see what to do next - so they can make sure every dollar spent or earned is really driving growth, and not just additional costs. The world's leading enterprises across a spectrum of industries rely on Vistex every day to propel their businesses
The Industry Intelligence Analyst plays a critical role in shaping the understanding of the industries Vistex serves. As part of the global Industry Team, this role delivers actionable market, competitor, and customer intelligence.
Working closely with Industry Principals and stakeholders across sales, marketing, and product teams, the role focuses on gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing industry and market information into clear insights. These insights help inform go-to-market strategies, product innovation, and competitive positioning.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen and the ability to translate complex information into practical insights for a wide range of internal stakeholders.
The role also involves supporting Analyst Relations activities, such as managing engagement with industry analysts
Responsibilities :
Industry Analysis and Insights:
  • Analyze and interpret data on Vistex related industries and market trends to inform Go-to-Market and product roadmap activities.
  • Assess market dynamics and size the market opportunities that align with Vistex strategic priorities.
  • Conduct in-depth industry analysis to identify emerging trends and developments across the industries we serve.

Competitor Intelligence:
  • Monitor and evaluate competitor activities, strategic moves, and product launches to identify potential threats and opportunities for Vistex.
  • Develop comprehensive competitor profiles and strategic insights to empower internal stakeholders, incl. pre-sales and sales to position Vistex competitively.
  • Update the organization on competitor activities that could impact market share and business objectives.

Customer Insights and Segmentation:
  • Analyze and interpret customer insights to support stakeholders on product roadmap, marketing direction and pipeline development
  • Montor and evaluate insights on evolving customer needs across the industries served
  • Provide customer insights that support pipeline development, industry expansion, and revenue growth

Analyst Relations Engagement
  • Coordinate external analyst relation engagements tied to business objectives
  • Prepare analyst briefing agendas, inquiry materials, presentations, and follow-up actions.
  • Support participation in analyst evaluations, surveys, and research processes, including coordination of required content and stakeholder input.
  • Help synthesize and distribute analyst insights internally to relevant business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with industry, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment of analyst insights with business priorities and messaging.

The above covers the main responsibilities of an Industry Analyst. However, at Vistex we believe in adapting to a dynamic market landscape. This position is an exciting opportunity for professionals eager to learn, grow and take on new challenges.
The compensation for this position is $85k to $95k annually. Base pay will vary depending on factors, including but not limited to a candidate's location, job-related knowledge, skills, and work experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities and other forms of discretionary annual bonus. Vistex provides highly competitive benefits, including a comprehensive healthcare plan, 401(k), and paid time off, including paid volunteerism days!
About us: The Vistex platform helps businesses finally get control of all their different promotions, rebates, SPAs, discounts, and other incentives. With so many programs across so many partner relationships, it can be impossible to see where all the money is going, let alone how much difference it's actually making to revenue. With Vistex, business leaders can see the numbers, see what really works, and see what to do next - so they can make sure every dollar they spend really is driving more growth, not just more costs. It's why global enterprises ranging from Coca-Cola to Sony to Grainger rely on Vistex every day. Vistex | Now it all adds up.â„¢
