This full-time role is pivotal in providing comprehensive mental health services to students within a school setting. As a clinician, you will engage directly with clients facing substantial mental health challenges, delivering both in-office and community-based interventions that promote emotional well-being and resilience.

About the Organization

The Mind Wellness Center is committed to enhancing the health of communities by offering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services, especially in medically underserved areas. Our mission is grounded in equality, as we serve all individuals regardless of their financial status. Our strategy combines global insights with local execution, establishing a standard for healthcare service delivery that prioritizes community needs. At the heart of our operations is a steadfast commitment to improving health outcomes, thereby establishing us as a model for other health centers.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a collaborative team dynamic. You will have the opportunity to work within a supportive network of professionals dedicated to mental health care. Our team emphasizes open communication, inclusivity, and shared goals, making it an ideal environment for passionate clinicians who wish to contribute to care for underserved populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with students facing significant mental health issues, providing tailored interventions based on evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to develop and implement integrated care plans that cater to the specific needs of each student.
  • Perform thorough assessments to diagnose various mental health conditions, and where necessary, arrange and refer clients for additional evaluations.
  • Develop crisis intervention strategies and respond to urgent situations to ensure client safety and support.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to track client progress and ensure that reports are submitted promptly, adhering to organizational and ethical guidelines.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to refine treatment approaches and share insights on improving student mental health services.
  • Engage in continuous professional development activities to enhance clinical skills, knowledge, and service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on promoting mental wellness among school-aged children and adolescents, many of whom may experience trauma, emotional disturbances, or significant life transitions. As an LCSW, you will be at the forefront of making tangible differences in their lives, helping them develop coping strategies and resilience to navigate their challenges effectively.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Active LCSW license in the state of Texas.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in a school setting or with children and adolescents.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal laws related to student mental health and confidentiality.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and effectively communicate with diverse populations.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in developing and implementing Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs) tailored for youth.
  • Familiarity with telehealth delivery systems and school-based mental health programs.
  • Knowledge of community resources and ongoing involvement with external partners.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer comprehensive benefits including health insurance, professional development resources, and a supportive work-life balance that encourages clinicians to prioritize their well-being while making a difference.
