The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Global Procurement Manager-Human Resources/Marketing Services, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Supervising a global team of Strategic Procurement category personnel ranging from Analysts to Managers
  • Interpreting global industry trends, customer requirements, and business objectives to define objectives and deliver results for Human Resource Services and Marketing Services.
  • Developing and Implementing global sourcing strategies for assigned categories (Human Resource Services and Marketing Services) to ensure business continuity and value creation.
  • Establishing and Managing supplier relationships that ensure cost and service benefits to the corporation.
  • Negotiating and Establishing effective supplier contract agreements, holding suppliers accountable to competitive prices, high quality and best-in-class service
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize activities for the successful integration of the sourcing strategies for the assigned categories (Human Resource Services and Marketing Services) as well as overall procurement guidelines and processes.
  • Leading complex projects as well as initiatives that have a high value and broad implication to the corporation.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university and Nine (9) years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, or Legal in a private, public, government or military environment

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of 17 years of experience in Strategic Procurement

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Logistics and Supply Chain from an accredited institution
  • Strong negotiation skills with attention to detail
  • Skilled written and oral communications
  • Working knowledge of Human Resource Services and/or Marketing Services supplier markets
  • Strong stakeholder management/influencing skills at a senior level.
  • Strong business, contract language and financial acumen.
