Job description

Title: Project Manager
Location: Tumwater, WA (role is remote however candidate must be able to travel onsite on special occasions/client meets/etc.)
Duration: 12 months
Mandatory:
• Expert Level experience, (minimum of ten years), as a Lead Project Manager with direct, personal, experience in the creation and maintenance of IT project PMBOK documentation deliverables for enterprise-scale information Technology system acquisition and implementation projects.
• Expert Level experience, (minimum of eight years), in agile project management methodologies leading cross-functional teams, managing and executing sprints, engaging business owners, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget.
• Expert Level experience, (minimum of six years), directly managing projects implementing enterprise-level geographic information system technology solutions.
• Expert Level experience managing projects that migrate manual processes to digital systems, port data between systems using APIs or other data integration or interoperability solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Expert PM Level of experience in Microsoft Office applications, MS Project, including Visio.
Desirable:
• Prior IT Project Management experience leading a project requiring Washington Technology Solutions (WaTech) oversight, providing all gated funding documentation and meeting WaTech's IT standards, policies, and guidelines.
• Prior IT Project Management experience managing projects involving modernizing a transportation agency's Linear Referencing System with ESRI's GIS technologies
• Prior IT Project Management experience with WSDOT IT projects.
• Prior experience in the creation of Request For Information (RFI), Request For Proposal (RFP), and Request For Quotation (RFQ) solicitations
• Prior IT Project Management migrating applications to a more modern, vendor hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) or Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) solution.
• A current certification as a Project Management Institute - Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is desirable.
