A Remote Genetic Counseling job involves providing genetic risk assessments, education, and support to patients through virtual platforms like video calls, phone calls, or secure messaging. Genetic counselors in these roles help individuals understand their genetic health risks, interpret test results, and guide them in making informed medical decisions. This type of work is ideal for professionals who want flexibility while still delivering high-quality patient care. Remote genetic counselors collaborate with healthcare teams and may specialize in areas like prenatal, cancer, or rare disease genetics.
