Easy Way Psychological Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health symptoms, strengths, and treatment needs. For instance, you’ll employ structured interviews and standardized assessment tools to gather pertinent information.
• Develop and implement culturally appropriate treatment plans that are family-centered, ensuring that the services provided are relevant and tailored to the individual needs of clients.
• Utilize trauma-informed practices throughout therapy sessions to ensure clients feel safe and supported. This may include employing techniques designed to reduce symptoms of trauma and promote resilience.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, case managers, and specialists within our clinical team to coordinate care and improve service delivery.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including client assessments and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Manage a designated caseload of clients, providing timely crisis intervention when necessary to support those in acute distress.
• Participate in regular supervision and team meetings, contributing to the culture of continuous improvement and support within the organization.
• Assist with additional tasks and initiatives as assigned by management in accordance with program goals.

You will focus on serving vulnerable populations, including individuals and families experiencing mental health challenges, trauma, and socioeconomic barriers. Our clients often come from racially and ethnically diverse backgrounds, and your ability to connect and empathize with their unique experiences will be paramount. Your therapeutic approach will play a significant role in empowering clients to make positive changes in their lives.

To be considered for this role, you must possess a Master's Degree in a relevant mental health field and hold an active clinical license in California. Accepted licenses include Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and the license must not require supervision.

We prefer candidates with a minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly with vulnerable populations. Experience in community mental health settings, crisis intervention, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
