Position Overview

Easy Way Psychological Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our innovative outpatient team. This full-time remote position offers the opportunity to engage directly with individuals, families, and groups who are in need of quality mental health care. As a therapist, you will provide evidence-based treatment through a trauma-informed lens, guiding clients toward healthier and more fulfilling lives.

About the Organization

Located in Riverside, California, Easy Way Psychological Services is committed to delivering accessible and effective mental health care to diverse populations. Our mission is to promote overall wellness and systemic health equity, ensuring that everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, age, or income, receives the support they need. By addressing barriers that specific groups face in accessing quality mental health services, we strive to improve health outcomes for historically marginalized individuals.

Work Environment

This fully remote position allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering essential services to clients from the comfort of your home. Despite the remote nature of the position, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive clinical team that values open communication and shared goals. Our outpatient office model encourages flexibility, enabling our therapists to tailor their schedules to meet the needs of their clients effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ acuity, strengths, and treatment needs, using a detailed understanding of mental health challenges.
  • Design and implement family-centered treatment plans that are culturally appropriate and consider the unique backgrounds and needs of each client.
  • Provide outpatient services that include individual and family therapy, employing trauma-informed practices to foster a safe and supportive environment for clients.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical colleagues and service coordination teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Document all clinical activities, including detailed case files, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with industry standards and organizational requirements.
  • Assess and respond to client crises, providing timely intervention to ensure safety and support.
  • Manage a designated caseload, adapting to the evolving demands of the program and ensuring delivery of quality care.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and contribute to the continuous improvement of our clinical practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a vital part of our team, you will primarily work with vulnerable populations facing diverse mental health challenges. Clients may include children, adolescents, adults, and families who have experienced trauma, systemic oppression, or significant life changes. Your role will focus on understanding their unique experiences and providing tailored therapeutic interventions that empower them to overcome barriers to mental well-being.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in a relevant field and possess an active and unrestricted clinical license in California (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or other appropriate licensure). This role does not accept candidates requiring supervision for licensure.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with 2 to 4 years of experience working in mental health settings, particularly with vulnerable populations or in trauma-informed environments. Demonstrated ability to maintain regular attendance and consistent availability for client appointments is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

Easy Way Psychological Services offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional development through training and continued education.

Career Growth Opportunities

Joining our team not only provides immediate rewarding opportunities in mental health care but also opens doors for significant career advancement. We encourage our therapists to pursue specialization and leadership within our organization, enriching their professional journey and enhancing the quality of client care.

Why Join Our Team

By becoming a part of Easy Way Psychological Services, you will engage in fulfilling work that has a profound impact on the lives of clients and their families. Our supportive environment fosters collaboration and professional growth, allowing you to develop meaningful relationships with colleagues while addressing critical health disparities. Together, we strive to make a difference in our community’s mental health landscape.
