Job description

Are you a strategic marketing leader who can turn business goals into impactful campaigns that drive engagement and revenue? Oregon Lottery is looking for one (1) Manager, Marketing to join the Go-To-Market Operations team in a remote position.
This is a remote position with occasional on site travel approximately once per quarter to attend team meetings, trainings, and other business-related events. Please note that Oregon Lottery does not reimburse travel expenses.

About the Role:
You will report to the Senior Manager, Go-To-Market Operations and develop and execute operational plans, organize work to meet business strategies, and evaluate functional results. You will guide, develop, and execute strategic marketing plans that support the Lottery's mission, brand promise, and revenue goals while ensuring compliance with state regulations and responsible gaming standards. You will oversee brand identity, paid media, digital platforms, retail marketing, and external agency partnerships to drive player engagement and support game launches across all product lines. You will manage marketing staff, budgets, analytics, and customer relationship management (CRM) efforts.
You Will:

  • Plan, organize, and evaluate the work of the unit while creating and sustaining an engaging and inclusive team culture.
  • Perform supervisory and talent management responsibilities, including aligning individual performance expectations with organizational goals and collaboratively developing performance goals with direct reports.
  • Provide constructive and timely feedback, offer guidance, coaching, and support, ensure professional development plans are in place, and manage ongoing performance.
  • Support employees in addressing and resolving conflicts directly, providing guidance as needed.
  • Create marketing strategies and plans that support revenue goals, game launches, and responsible gaming objectives.
  • Manage the marketing budget, support retailers, and ensure all advertising meets state regulations and responsible gaming standards.
  • Lead paid media management, collaborate with agencies and vendors, support game launches, and execute integrated campaigns across digital, retail, and traditional channels.
  • Manage and evolve the Lottery's brand identity, ensure consistency across all channels, support messaging development, and maintain alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee digital platforms and data-driven player engagement, manage the website, app, and social media presence, and utilize CRM tools and analytics to drive retention and understand player behavior.

You Have:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years of professional experience in marketing with oversight for at least one of the following: brand identity, paid media, digital platforms, or retail marketing. Three (3) years of supervisory or management experience; OR
  • Eight (8) years of professional experience in marketing with oversight for at least one of the following: brand identity, paid media, digital platforms, or retail marketing. Three (3) years of supervisory or management experience.
