Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range $41.30hr - $46.30hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Knowledge of Unity, Unreal, or HTML games - 3+ years.
  • Familiarity with 3D tools, such as Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Substance, and other digital content creation software - 3+ years.
  • Experience with 3D modeling, including rigging, topology cleanup, and asset optimization - 3+ years.

Responsibilities:

  • This role reports directly to the Creative Director of the Creative Services team within Mobile Game Publishing.
  • Rapidly design and create mockups of mini-game and playable concepts that the team will implement and test with UA.
  • Support 3D modeling needs including rigging, topology cleanup, and asset optimization.
  • Communicate, collaborate and give feedback to the creative team on implementation targets of creative playable outputs.
  • Think critically, demonstrate empathy, and create recommendations for player interactions and desired themes for future playables.
  • Seek reviews from stakeholders, peers, and UA to rapidly iterate upon designs, making decisions informed by feedback and user data.
  • Work closely with PMM and CS Creative Director to create playable campaigns.
  • Utilize AI tools to rapidly inform new playable concepts, iterations and leverage AI to streamline the playable creation process.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Game of Thrones or House of The Dragon.
  • Knowledge of 4x Strategy Games.
  • Mobile gaming industry experience.

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills including oral, visual and written.
  • Understanding of current mobile market in the midcore/hybrid casual space.

Education and Experience:

  • A portfolio demonstrating knowledge of level design, preferably in a playable ad or casual game format, 3D modeling skills.
  • Understanding of UA mini-games and playable ads.
  • Experience with 3D modeling, including rigging, topology cleanup, and asset optimization.
  • Experience with the casual game spaces or hyper casual games.
  • Understanding of art layout, UI, game pacing/level design.
  • Knowledge of Unity, Unreal, or HTML games.
  • Familiarity with 3D tools, such as Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Substance, and other digital content creation software.
  • Familiarity with emerging AI-assisted creative tools or an interest in learning how to incorporate them into art workflows.
