Job description

SEO/CRO Project Manager
Orbit Media Studios is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Optimization (SEO/CRO) team. This work focuses on growing established brands after their websites have already launched. In short, we set a 3-10 year high-level vision. Each month, we strategize more deeply through audits, exercises, experiments and content plans. Then we act, distributing work between: (1) our Optimization team, (2) other Orbit teams, and (3) the client's in-house team.
As Project Manager, you'll collaborate most closely with a Senior Digital Strategist who sets and interprets a vision. Project Managers coordinate creative (writer/editor) and technical (analyst/developer) team members, who make these visions a reality. As this process unfolds, the Project Manager is responsible for provisioning tasks, deadlines, hourly budgets, scope creep, and communication.

  • Act as the first point of client contact
  • Keep internal and external teams informed and excited about the work
  • Work in partnership with a Senior Digital Strategist to keep measurable results flowing
  • Coordinate tasks, deadlines, hourly budgets and scope for an average of six brands
  • Address minor website changes in an administration panel directly
  • Interpret incoming website requests, adapt these requests to fit our vision
  • Nurture friendly relationships across various marketing and IT departments
  • Leverage and improve our centralized process model that spans all things
