Job description

About the Role

As a Senior Brand Designer at ShopMy, you'll be a master of your craft and a highly hands-on creative, responsible for concepting and executing the high-impact work that sets the visual standard for our brand. You'll collaborate closely with Creative Design, Brand Marketing, and Product Marketing to bring the ShopMy brand to life across every touchpoint - from integrated campaigns and partnerships to email, paid media, social, presentations, and beyond.

This role is for someone who pairs exceptional design craft with strong conceptual and strategic thinking. You'll spend the majority of your time designing - creating hero assets, translating briefs into compelling visual directions, and building systems that enable great work to scale across the team. You'll bring a meticulous eye for typography, composition, imagery, and detail, ensuring everything you touch feels distinctly ShopMy: premium, modern, thoughtful, and exceptionally crafted.

Beyond your own work, you'll raise the quality of the work around you - sharing your expertise, providing thoughtful creative and technical feedback, and helping other designers execute at a higher level. You're comfortable owning scoped initiatives from concept through execution, navigating ambiguity, and collaborating across teams to turn strategic objectives into exceptional creative.

What You'll Do
  • Own & assist, concept, and execute high-impact design initiatives from end to end for marketing campaigns, partnerships, and brand initiatives across all channels - including email, social, paid media, events, and out-of-home. You'll spend the majority of your time hands-on, designing the hero assets that set the creative standard for broader campaign execution.
  • Create exceptional, highly crafted work that raises the creative bar for ShopMy - bringing a strong point of view and meticulous attention to typography, composition, imagery, and execution.
  • Translate briefs and brand strategy into actionable creative direction, assist on leading brainstorms and establishing visual approaches that other designers can successfully build from.
  • Design and produce marketing materials such as sales decks, brand presentations, digital ads, and other assets that showcase ShopMy's story and value with a consistently premium level of craft.
  • Build and own scalable campaign systems - developing visual identities, templates, tools, and processes that enable the broader team to execute consistently and efficiently.
  • Guide and elevate the work of other designers through hands-on creative direction, thoughtful critique, and real-time technical and creative feedback.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, and Product teams, proactively managing dependencies and turning strategic objectives into cohesive, high-impact creative.
  • Lead scoped creative initiatives independently, navigating ambiguity, identifying solutions, and carrying work from initial concept through final execution.
  • Work directly with external partners and agencies to uphold ShopMy's creative standards and ensure alignment, timelines, and seamless execution across initiatives.
  • Deliver exceptional work at pace, managing multiple priorities and helping coordinate the team's weekly output without compromising craft or attention to detail.
  • Contribute to how the design team works by helping establish team norms, documentation, tools, and processes that make the entire team stronger.
What Sets You Up for Success
  • You are a master of your craft and bring exceptional taste, deep design expertise, and a highly refined point of view; you care deeply about the details and consistently set a high bar for creative excellence from the strength of the concept to the precision of the final execution
  • 5+ years of experience in brand, marketing, or visual design, ideally within lifestyle, tech, or creative industries
  • Proven experience concepting and executing holistic, cross-channel campaigns
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong creative eye for typography, color, layout, and photography with an ability to elevate the premium feel of a brand
  • Skilled in designing across a wide range of mediums including email, digital ads, marketing collateral, and investor decks
  • A systems-driven mindset: you think beyond single deliverables to scalable design frameworks
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to define creative direction even from open-ended briefs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; can confidently sell ideas and lead creative discussions cross-functionally
  • Highly organized and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities with clarity and calm
  • Collaborative, optimistic, and full of creative energy
  • A base knowledge of ShopMy, who we are and what we're creating
