We are looking for a Software Engineer II, Frontend with a background in web development to join our Web Platform and Family Hub team. Our ideal candidate has a background in NextJS web application development, understands application design and development but also wants to participate in the deployment and operational phases of the SDLC.
This role reports to the Director, Engineering.
Technologies we use:
  • Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Modern build tools (Turborepo, etc.), Testing (Cypress, React Testing Library, Jest).
  • Backend & Infrastructure: Node.js, Express, TypeScript/Kotlin, REST APIs, AWS

Your day-to-day:
  • Lead the design and implementation of groundbreaking web experiences, translating mobile features to the web with world-class UX.
  • Drive technical strategy, define engineering standards/best practices, mentor engineers, and establish the technical vision for the web platform.
  • Manage technical debt, champion code quality, and lead architectural evolution.

What you'll bring to the team:
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 3+ years of software development experience with a track record of technical leadership
  • Expertise in React/Next.js/Remix, experience with modern build tools, testing, and CI/CD.
