Can you be a freight broker with no experience?

Remote freight broker training programs often do not require prior experience, as they teach the necessary skills such as load matching, negotiation, and understanding transportation regulations. However, having some knowledge of logistics and strong communication skills can improve success in the role. Certification and licensing, like the FMCSA broker authority, are required to operate legally.

Is freight broker training worth it?

However, success also depends on industry experience, networking, and ongoing learning.

Success depends on experience, industry knowledge, and the ability to secure consistent freight contracts, often requiring certification and ongoing training. Consistent effort and effective communication are key to reaching this income level in freight brokerage.
