What You'll Do
- Manage and grow an existing book of business while identifying new revenue opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers, carriers, and transportation partners.
- Source transportation solutions that meet customer requirements while maximizing profitability.
- Handle customer pricing, negotiations, and service management.
- Coordinate shipments and proactively resolve transportation issues.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and shipment activity within CRM and TMS platforms.
- Stay informed on market trends, carrier capacity, and pricing fluctuations.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as aFreight Broker, Logistics Account Executive, or Logistics Sales Representative.
- Transferable book of businesswith active shipper relationships and revenue-generating accounts.
- Strong experience selling and managingLTL freight solutions.
- Demonstrated success inlogistics salesand customer acquisition.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using transportation management systems (TMS), CRM platforms, and load boards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with additional freight modes including FTL, Partial, Expedited, Drayage, Intermodal, or Specialized Freight.
- Established carrier network and industry relationships.
- Strong understanding of freight market dynamics and pricing strategies.
