Alliance is a fast-growing, multi-service organization with a strong focus on delivering operational excellence including an expanding presence in the environmental services sector. Our Legal team plays a critical role in enabling business growth while safeguarding interests of the enterprise, and we are seeking a Senior Paralegal / Contract Manager to join our team. This opportunity is an exciting opportunity to take that next step in your career with amenities such as, overtime availability, PTO, and great benefits that kick in the month after you start. We are looking to start this position at $80,000 annually or more based on experience. This is going to be a remote position.
The Role
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in leveraging technology to optimize day-to-day operations. You will bring your experience to improve current processes including the selection, implementation, and administration of a CLM system. You will be the contract lead for the entire CLM process. As a leader you will resolve urgent issues and strengthen our contracting processes. This position also involves being part of the hands-on review and negotiation of a high volume of contracts, including direct counterparty negotiations, as needed, to facilitate successful business outcomes. This role is ideal for a highly motivated and experienced senior paralegal with contract management experience or a senior level contract manager. This opportunity calls for strong organizational and analytical abilities, along with the agility and drive to excel in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Practical use of AI tools to accelerate and manage work
  • Manage and administer the complete lifecycle of Alliance's contracts
  • Contract types include Sales/Purchase MSAs/project specific, NDAs, SaaS, EULA, SLAs, Licensing, Recruitment, Consulting, Partnership, Government, etc.
  • Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex contracts to ensure favorable terms and minimize risk for the organization
  • Identify potential contractual risks and develop strategies to mitigate them throughout the contract lifecycle
  • Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Collaborate with legal, procurement, finance, and multiple service lines to align contract terms with organizational objectives
  • Oversee the execution, implementation, and ongoing administration of contracts, ensuring all obligations are met by both parties.
  • Update contract templates, contract policies, clause libraries and company risk tolerance across multiple business lines.
  • Support and lead special projects within the department as needed.

Qualifications
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • CPCM, CCCM, PACE, PCCE or similar certification is a plus
  • Executive level knowledge of contract management
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in drafting and negotiating contracts in a commercial environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with contract management solutions (CLMs), including implementation, maintenance, and optimization
  • Strong business judgment, risk assessment skills, and ability to balance speed with risk management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and contract lifecycle management tools
