As an LCSW at Allied Counseling P.C, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to understand the mental and emotional challenges faced by each client, ensuring that treatment plans align with their unique needs.
• Designing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans utilizing modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to address a spectrum of mental health concerns.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and organizational guidelines, ensuring all records reflect quality care outcomes.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Engaging in regular team meetings and peer consultations to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Providing psychoeducation and supportive resources to clients and their families, equipping them with the tools necessary to navigate their treatment and recovery.
• Staying current with empirical research and best practices in the mental health field, actively integrating this knowledge into your clinical practice.

Your role will primarily involve working with clients experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. You will have the opportunity to connect with diverse individuals from various backgrounds, each with unique experiences and challenges. By utilizing a trauma-informed approach and personalized care strategies, you will support clients in developing resilience and fostering recovery pathways.

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, with a strong foundation in clinical practice.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically focused on providing psychotherapy services to individuals with mental health and addiction issues.
• Proficiency in employing solution-based psychotherapy interventions and methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and effectively engage with clients.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, necessary for developing effective treatment plans and facilitating progress.
• The ability to conduct sessions in a remote setting while maintaining professional ethics and boundaries.

• Experience in working within a detox or rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with utilizing telehealth platforms for providing therapy sessions.
