Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health concerns and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques, ensuring to adapt approaches based on each client's unique circumstances.
  • Collaborate with clients to set therapeutic goals and monitor their progress throughout the healing journey.
  • Utilize teletherapy solutions, providing virtual sessions to clients who prefer or require this option, thereby increasing accessibility to mental health services.
  • Maintain accurate and ethical documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with state regulations and professional standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and stay informed on the latest trends in mental health treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Allied Counseling P.C., you will work with a heterogeneous client base experiencing issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Our clients often seek therapy to navigate complex emotions and life transitions. Qualifications
  • An active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

  • Previous involvement in addiction treatment or trauma-informed care is desirable but not mandatory.
