• Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients to create a safe, supportive atmosphere for therapy.
• Perform thorough assessments of mental health needs by utilizing standardized screening tools and clinical interviews.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client.
• Conduct regular counseling sessions with individuals, couples, and families, integrating various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and systemic therapy.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring they align with client objectives and outcomes.
• Collaborate with other professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive support is provided to clients.
• Stay current with evidence-based approaches in mental health treatment, including the latest research in addiction counseling and co-occurring disorders.
• Incorporate client feedback into therapy sessions to promote a client-centered therapeutic approach that emphasizes self-advocacy.

• A valid LMFT license in the state of Tennessee.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and treat a variety of mental health disorders effectively.
• Strong therapeutic skills accompanied by the capability to motivate and empower clients.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on empathy and active listening.
• Experience or specialized training in addiction counseling is highly desirable.

• 2+ years of experience in provided mental health counseling, particularly in community health or clinical settings.
• Formal training in evidence-based practices, particularly related to substance abuse and co-occurring conditions.
• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding the impact of cultural factors on mental health.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision coverage, a retirement plan with company match, mileage reimbursement, and options for pay on demand.
