• Provide direct clinical services to students exhibiting symptoms of severe emotional disorders and mental health illnesses through teletherapy and remote consultations.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments and evaluations to tailor integrated care plans specific to individual client requirements.
• Collaborate closely with school personnel and other community stakeholders to foster an integrated support system for students.
• Engage in crisis intervention strategies and provide immediate support during emergencies as needed.
• Monitor client progress through regular check-ins and therapy sessions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Document all client interactions meticulously, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client development and optimize service delivery.

The LCSW will primarily serve school-age children and adolescents, working effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds. This includes addressing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and trauma-related issues impacting their academic and social success. Culturally sensitive approaches will be crucial in establishing trust and rapport with clients from varying socioeconomic and cultural contexts.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required, along with a license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.
• At least two years of professional experience working with children and adolescents in school or community settings is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, families, and team members.
• Proficient with Telehealth technologies and digital communication platforms to deliver remote services efficiently.

• Experience in managing a caseload of clients with varying mental health diagnoses.
• Knowledge of best practices for brief, solution-focused interventions and developmental assessment techniques.
• Familiarity with local community resources and the ability to connect families with appropriate support services.
