Summary
This position is located at: - Fort Riley, Kansas.
Join our team, DFMWR provides family support activities and services; social, fitness and recreational activities that enhance community life, fosters Soldier and unit readiness and promotes mental and physical fitness; and wellness programs that directly support readiness and resiliency.
This is an open continuous announcement. All qualified applicants will be forwarded to management on a weekly or as needed basis.

Duties
Help
  • Performs a variety of routine manual tasks in a kitchen or dining area following established procedures.
  • Sets up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, napkins, condiments, and cold menu items such as salads, desserts, bread, and cold beverages on a serving line or tables. Removes dishes and trays from tables after meals. Washes tables and counters.
  • Prepares food by sorting, washing, peeling, and cutting fresh fruit and vegetables. Operates, break downs, and cleans all equipment assigned to the area for food preparation.
  • Loads and operate dishwashers. Stores cleaned dishes, glasses and silverware. Vacuums and shampoos carpets; sweeps and mops kitchen floors. Cleans windows and washes walls. Cleans and sanitizes trashcans; disposes of trash.
  • Must have the ability to do basic math. Performs other duties as assigned.

Allowances and Differentials
  • This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
