We’re seeking an experienced Regional Account Manager to lead growth across  Central North America (US & Canada) region within the AgBio/Applied sector. If you’re a motivated sales professional with a passion for science and strategic client solutions, this role offers an incredible platform to make a real impact.

Your Role
As our Central Regional Account Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our revenue and market growth efforts, managing relationships with key applied science clients and delivering targeted solutions in biotech and life sciences. By collaborating with our diverse teams, including scientific operations, application support, and product management, you’ll drive critical sales processes that support LGC’s mission of advancing “Science for a Safer World.”

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Leadership: Build, manage, and grow relationships with defined Applied clients in the region, supporting complex solutions across instrumentation, reagents, consumables, and services.
  • Sales Process Expertise: Lead end-to-end account sales processes, including territory forecasting, client discovery, analysis, solution design, negotiation, and closing.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams across scientific operations, product management, and engineering to address complex client challenges.
  • Client Discovery & Solution Design: Develop a deep understanding of client needs to offer tailored scientific solutions for applied science problems.
  • Market Engagement: Act as LGC’s face in the region, with travel up to 50% to establish strong client connections and deliver value.
Qualifications

Your Skills and Experience

  • Educational Background: University Degree (BS or MS) in Life Sciences, Biotech, or a related field. Emphasis in molecular/cell biology is a plus.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages such as French is a plus.
  • Sales Experience: Demonstrated success with complex sales up to multi-million-dollar transactions.
  • Sales Competencies: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with experience tracking and reporting sales metrics.
  • Relationship Management: Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to manage key relationships across diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic Sales Skills: Proven expertise in territory forecasting, prospecting, solution design, questioning, and closing large accounts.
