This role is set in a remote environment with the flexibility to create your own schedule while working from home. You will engage with a diverse patient population, specifically school-aged children and their families, addressing various mental health concerns while advocating for their emotional well-being both in and out of the classroom.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Terra State Group, you will have a variety of responsibilities designed to provide comprehensive psychotherapy services:

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments for children and families with diverse mental health needs, including learning difficulties, behavioral issues, and trauma-related challenges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that utilize a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused strategies tailored to each client’s preferences and goals.
• Administer therapeutic interventions in both one-on-one and group settings, actively engaging clients in their healing processes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and Terra State Group’s record-keeping standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, school psychologists, and external service providers, to coordinate effective care and support for students.
• Facilitate regular case consultations and peer supervision meetings to refine therapeutic approaches and share insights within the team.
• Offer educational sessions to parents and guardians, equipping them with resources and strategies to support their children's mental health.
• Stay abreast of the latest research developments in mental health, integrating new knowledge into practice for optimal client outcomes.

This role focuses primarily on children and adolescents within the school system experiencing a range of mental health issues. You will work directly with students dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Your expertise will aim to empower these young individuals and their families by providing support, education, and access to valuable community resources.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Oregon.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically providing psychotherapy services to children and adolescents.
• Proficiency in solution-focused interventions and a strong commitment to evidence-based practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and rapport with clients and families.
