This position operates within a remote framework, enabling our social workers to maintain flexible working conditions while serving clients through virtual consultations and teletherapy sessions. • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and needs to develop suitable treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address a range of mental health disorders.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and support staff, to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care to our patients.
• Facilitate understanding for patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management, ensuring they are well-informed and empowered throughout their treatment journey.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing diverse therapeutic modalities while focusing on patient participation and engagement.
• Work closely with the mental health team to develop individualized treatment plans that align with patient goals and preferences, emphasizing client autonomy and empowerment.
• Advocate for clients navigating the complexities of the mental health system, ensuring they receive appropriate resources, rights, and services.
• Lead therapeutic groups, psychoeducation sessions, and facilitate discharge planning meetings to promote recovery and community reintegration.
