Sr Information Security Analyst (Remote) This position has the potential to work remotely within the Eastern or Central US timezones. WHAT YOULL DO: Basic administration and management of security operations solutions and programs, such as our database security program, PKI and SIEM management Provide standards compliance monitoring and participate in governance activities associated with these domains Participate in various technical and non-technical projects that might require Information Security representation WHAT IT TAKES: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years in a dedicated Information Security role or 5 years in an IT administration role with at least 3 years administering and supporting at least one security operations solution. In lieu of the degree, additional work experience and/or trade school or applicable certifications.

Years of experience requirement can be offset with demonstrated knowledge of security solutions and proficiencies in various infrastructure platforms (e.g., Windows servers, Unix, etc.) Certification in at least one of the following: CompTIA Security+, SANS GSEC, ISC2 SSCP, CompTIA CySA+ Intermediate knowledge of Information Security concepts, principles, and practices, including but not limited to threat management, SIEM, and incident response Proficient in one or more industry-standard network, database, and/or vulnerability tools Knowledge of network security technologies such as Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, Cloud Security, etc. Knowledge of security aspects for multiple operating systems, networking technologies, encryption technologies, and applications Experience with public key infrastructure (PKI) is beneficial Working knowledge in multiple security domains Working knowledge of security control frameworks, standards, governance, and security best practices Proven ability to work independently with guidance in only the most complex situations Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and planning skills Strong client facing skills with ability to deal and lead conversations with large technically diverse teams Organized, responsive, and highly thorough problem solver with strong ability to solve complex problems, analyze information, identify and assess risks, and make tactical and strategic recommendations Experience driving measurable improvement in security operations and risk reduction within the organization Excellent time management skills to aid in meeting specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish Knowledge of programming languages An additional requirement for this role is the successful passing of a credit check review for the selected candidate WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU: Competitive starting base salary plus a targeted annual performance bonus Wonderful team of dynamic people to work with who are fun, caring and friendly Fantastic benefits package Phenomenal work environment with perks including onsite restaurant and coffee shop, employee activities, fitness center, and sports leagues #J-18808-Ljbffr
