Baer is looking for SAP B2A/P2R Consultant for a 9+ month remote project.

Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 9 months
Rate: All-inclusive

Overview
We are seeking an SAP B2A/P2R Functional Consultant to support SAP Financial Accounting delivery and operations. The role will primarily focus on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and basic Asset Accounting (AA). The consultant will work under guidance to document requirements, support testing, resolve issues, and assist with training and cutover activities.
Description
  • Support SAP Financial Accounting processes, including GL, AP, AR, and basic Asset Accounting.
  • Gather and document business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Assist with SAP configuration and functional process documentation.
  • Prepare and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Analyze and support resolution of SAP Finance issues and defects.
  • Work with technical and business teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Support data validation, reconciliation, and defect tracking.
  • Assist with user training, training materials, and knowledge transfer.
  • Support cutover, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
  • Maintain functional documentation, test scripts, and process procedures.
  • Follow established SAP Finance processes, standards, and best practices.

Requirements
  • Experience supporting SAP Financial Accounting (FI).
  • Working knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP Asset Accounting.
  • Experience with requirements documentation, testing, defect resolution, and production support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under the guidance of senior SAP functional team members.
  • SAP S/4HANA Finance experience is preferred.
