This position is designed for professionals who thrive in a remote outpatient setting, allowing for flexible work arrangements while maintaining the therapeutic quality of services. As a licensed mental health therapist, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, participating in regular case reviews, supervision, and professional development opportunities.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately diagnose conditions and develop personalized treatment strategies.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing various evidence-based techniques to address clients’ unique challenges.
• Build and maintain therapeutic relationships, creating a supportive environment that fosters trust and openness.
• Draft and modify treatment plans based on ongoing client evaluations and feedback, facilitating continuous improvement in therapy outcomes.
• Document all client interactions meticulously, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.
• Coordinate with external service providers and community resources to provide clients with additional support as needed.

Our client base consists of individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a licensed therapist with Familias First, you will work specifically with underserved populations, utilizing culturally sensitive approaches to ensure equitable access to mental health care. You will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their obstacles and achieve greater emotional balance.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a related field is required; however, candidates with a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work are preferred.
• Active California state licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC is necessary to perform the duties of this role.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling setting, preferably in outpatient or community-based services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

• Experience working with culturally diverse populations and integrating cultural competence into therapy practices.
• Familiarity with telehealth delivery systems and remote therapeutic practices.

We offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
